New Jersey Owners/Agents and Stakeholders,

New Jersey Housing and Mortgage Finance Agency (NJHMFA) is pleased to announce the launch of a centralized email for the submission of New Jersey PBCA and Section 811 Special Claims to the New Jersey Housing and Mortgage Finance Agency (NJHMFA) TRACS Department.

Effective immediately, all New Jersey PBCA and Section 811 Special Claims must now be submitted through NJHMFA’s LEAPFILE program to: NJ_SpecialClaims@NJHMFA.gov

Why This Change?

The creation of a centralized mailbox streamlines communication, improves tracking, and ensures more efficient processing of Special Claims for NJHMFA, New Jersey Owners, Agents, and Stakeholders.

Key benefits include:

• Improved Efficiency: Centralized intake helps prevent processing delays by routing submissions directly to the appropriate team.
• Enhanced Tracking: Special Claims submitted to the centralized mailbox are easier to monitor, ensuring better accountability and faster resolution.
• Consolidated Communication: All related correspondence relating to Special Claims will be organized in one place, reducing the risk of lost or misdirected emails.

Please begin using this new email address immediately for all new Special Claim submissions for NJMHFA PBCA and Section 811 program properties.  Special Claim submissions sent to individual NJHMFA staff members will be redirected, which may result in delays.
