The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) launched a new landing page for HUD Secure Systems in July 2026. This update will affect Office of Multifamily Housing (MFH) partners and all users of MFH systems.

The new landing page is the first step in HUD’s Enterprise Identity, Credential, and Access Management (EICAM) modernization initiative. It is designed to provide a simpler, faster, and more user-friendly sign-in experience while laying the foundation for future identity and security enhancements.

What is Changing? 

Starting in July 2026, users who access HUD Secure Systems through the Web Access Security Subsystem (WASS) will see a new landing page before accessing their systems.

This change applies to users of the following MFH systems:

• Integrated Real Estate Management System (iREMS)
• Tenant Rental Assistance Certification System (TRACS)
• Active Partners Performance System (APPS)
• Capital Needs Assessment Tool (CNA e-Tool)
• Multifamily Delinquency and Default Reporting (MDDR)
• Mark-to-Market (M2M)

The new landing page provides:

• A cleaner, more modern interface.
• Easier navigation and faster access to HUD Secure Systems.
• Improved accessibility and usability.
• Updated help resources, FAQs, and user guidance. 

Do I need to do anything?

No. You do not need to register, update your account, or take any action before or after the new landing page launches.

To support a smooth transition, the current HUD Secure Systems URL will remain available for the first 30 days after the new landing page is introduced. During this transition period, users can sign in using either the current URL or the new landing page.
