To date, more than 100,000 HUD unique end users have successfully enrolled in Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), strengthening the protection of HUD data and advancing ongoing security compliance efforts.

Based on feedback from individual end users. the Department is  extending the MFA compliance deadline to November 2, 2026, to allow additional time for enrollment while supporting HUD’s security and modernization objectives.
